Students at Outwood Academy Easingwold celebrated a massive increase in results with nearly a third of students gaining an A*/A at A Level which is a huge improvement on last year.
Students achieving Grade A*/B at A Level rose to 61% representing a 22% increase on last year.
The A Level average point score per entry rose to a fantastic 36.9 with the average grade rising form Grade C to Grade B.
These results are now significantly above last year’s averages in both York (32.2) and North Yorkshire (32.3) ensuring Easingwold’s position as an excellent choice for post 16 study. The whole community can be proud that their local school once more has a high performing Sixth Form.
