Friends of Easingwold School

We are grateful to the Friends of Easingwold School for their continued support and fundraising to benefit the students of Outwood Academy Easingwold.

Representatives of the Friends of Easingwold School presenting a cheque for their very generous donation of £40,000 towards the construction of a 3G all-weather sports pitch. The pitch will form part of the proposed re-development of the Academy’s sports facilities and will have a huge impact on the opportunity for student sport.

Students at Outwood Academy Easingwold are celebrating another fantastic set of A level results in this unprecedented year of pandemic and centre assessed grades.

Despite an unprecedented year of pandemic, school closure and centre assessed grades students and staff at Outwood Academy Easingwold are celebrating the GCSE grades that rightly reward the hard work and study of our students.

Our students’ achievements are recognised in English and Maths with 69% of students being awarded Grade 5 or higher and 84% awarded Grade 4 or higher. English saw 76% of students gaining Grade 5+ and 89% gaining Grade 4+ and in maths, 73% of students were awarded Grade 5+ and 85 % Grade 4 +.
“I am extremely proud of our students’ hard work and determination during an incredibly difficult time. I am delighted that students’ hard work has been recognised and awarded. We look forward to welcoming many of them back to our high performing Sixth Form in September.” Principal, Miss Eddery.
Impressive individual performances included B. Jecock and L. Jolly who both achieved an amazing 10 Grade 9s! S. Marriott 9 Grade 9’s and 1 Grade 8, Elanor Philpott 7 Grade 9’s and 4 Grade 8’s. K. Barker and T. Mortimer both achieved 7 Grade 9’s and 2 Grade 8’s. R. Clark achieved 7 Grade 9’s and 1 Grade 8, E. Coatesworth 5 Grade 9’s and 4 Grade 8’s and T. Walker 4 Grade 9’s and 8 Grade 8’s. Well done to you and all of Y11 for what they have achieved.
This year sees GCSE and A level grades that recognise success and will enable our students to take their next steps in education, training and employment. We would like to thank our students, community and staff for all their work, support and resilience across this time and wish our students a bright and exciting future.
